2. First Day
It’s this puppy’s first day on the job. This cutie is ready and prepared to be the new puppy at the station and take down those criminals. This picture would be perfect for his new ID card.

The Brimfield Police Department understands the importance of wearing a bulletproof vest while on the job. This puppy in training is going to have to grow into his vest! His face is determined and already taking his position seriously!
4. Too Heavy
Teddy must get used to wearing his harness, but it’s a bit too new for him right now! If Teddy is going to be a seeing-eye dog he will have to get used to being right-side up while wearing the harness. Maybe tomorrow he will get it!

This 7 week old puppy is starting his new career with a photoshoot. West Midlands Police Department informed the public that,
“Operational police dogs must have a sound temperament and be bold and courageous – not too aggressive. They spend a long time training and bonding with their handlers and play a vital role in identifying evidence and offenders.”

It was a long day of training for this future service dog. Training can be exhausting and this puppy needed a well deserved nap. He fell completely asleep before he even left the training building!

Rhino has a bright future ahead of him, he is a member of the Puppy Development Training for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). RAAF states that Rhino and his eight siblings,
“…named by RAAF Amberley’s Health Operational Conversion Unit, are 15 weeks old and have been enjoying weekend home stays as they prepare to go into a foster care home as part of Puppy Development Training.”
Xxcalliber has started his training with the United States Air Force. Xxcalliber has two x’s at the beginning of his named because USAF trained dogs all have the first letter in their name be doubled to be identified as a USAF trained puppy.
17. Field Trips
Field trips are pivotal during a service animal’s training. The puppies must keep their training intact while being in a crowd. This puppy was taken to an ice cream factory to make sure he is listening to his training. Good work buddy!

FFalcor is pictured here with a handler. FFalcor is a puppy in the Military Working Dog Puppy Program, which has intensive training. The relationship with the puppies and their handlers is so important and FFalcor is super comfortable with his!
