It’s always fascinating to see how babies react to sounds or music.
Their young age makes them responsive to new sounds around them and as expected, they react differently compared to grown-ups.
Just look at this baby’s precious face when her mom sang a worship song.
‘Good, Good Father’
It is a song performed by Chris Tomlin, a contemporary Christian-modern worship musician. The song was quite a success because it became Tomlin’s 6th song to reach the No.1 spot of Hot Christian Songs.
‘Good, Good Father’ held the No. 1 spot for seven long weeks!
It’s an inspiring song that builds mountains of faith.
Adults or anyone who understands the message of the song will be surely moved. It speaks about the characteristics of the Almighty Father and us as His beloved children.
A child’s response to a worship song can be the purest thing in life.
In a touching video posted by God Tube, the mom can be heard singing to her baby named Leland during his mealtime.
As she goes with the song’s lyrics:
“You’re a good, good Father
It’s who You are, it’s who You are, it’s who You are
And I’m loved by You
It’s who I am, it’s who I am, it’s who I am”
At first, little Leland is all eyes and ears to mom. It shows how good of an audience he is as he focuses his attention on his her.
Soon, the baby’s eyes are starting to tear up.
Baby Leland seems to be overwhelmed with emotions. Though he can’t understand the song yet, we are sure he is feeling the song’s spiritual message.
Also, mom is doing an exceptional job in singing the song with all her heart.
As it turns out, music can impact a child’s early development:
“From birth, parents instinctively use music to calm and soothe children, to express love and joy, and to engage and interact. Parents can build on these natural instincts by learning how music can impact child development, improve social skills, and benefit children of all ages.”
It’s just amazing how our little ones respond to music.
Baby Leland’s reaction is simply priceless and pure. Though there could be other reasons why he suddenly moves into tears like his mom’s facial reaction or maybe the volume of mom’s voice.
Regardless of the reason, it is still adorable in more ways than one, don’t you agree?
As mom continues to sing:
“You are perfect in all of Your ways
Oh, You’re perfect in all of Your ways
You are perfect in all of Your ways to us”
That’s when baby Leland’s tears finally roll down his cheeks and oh, it also pushes my tears out.
