Few people have the opportunity and experience to learn professional hair and cosmetic skills. Outside of going to cosmetology school, the best way to learn is from the Hollywood professionals themselves. Beyond that, the best bet is, surprising as it is, YouTube tutorials. It’s pretty astounding how much professional advice you can find on the internet if you discriminate between advice that’s fake and advice that’s real.

When it comes to makeup, you always want real advice.

When you watch the results happen right before your eyes in a step by step progression, you can see that it’s not the result of editing that makes a person look bright, clear and even-toned. The products are introduced individually and you can see how to use them. That is, because Monique Parent is a fabulous makeup artist and even more fabulous Hollywood persona.

She knows how to look good on screen and off.

Monique explains that though she has had her makeup done professional hundreds of times, on the average day, a simple routine works best and so that’s what she has perfected. She happened to know that plenty of women out there want a routine that is applicable to a busy schedule, and even more importantly, to the needs of aging skin.

Aging skin isn’t a problem when you have nourishing, moisturizing products.

Beyond knowing what products are best for aging skin, it’s even more effective to know how much of the product to actually use. That’s why video tutorials are extra helpful. In about twenty minutes, Monique goes from a bare face with a couple of visible blemishes to a glowing appearance that will have you double-take.

Society takes it’s cues from what is seen on our TV screens and movie screens. When the only gray hair seen on TV is on senior citizens, we automatically view gray hair as “old.” The only way to change that is to get people on TV and into movies that are young and vibrant with gray hair.

Wouldn’t you like to see the media represent beauty in all ages and forms? Sometimes all that’s needed is for someone to pave the way – then more will be able to follow.

That’s what I am here to do. I’m here to represent. Hopefully, to implement a change in how society views those of us with sexy, silver locks.

Obviously, Monique knows how to rock her own look. Most of all it’s important to find a routine and a look that is suitable for your lifestyle and for your preference – and that’s a completely personal journey. However, we all need a couple of tips now and then. Let Monique inspire a new confidence in your image no matter what your age!
