Romantic crooner Michael Bublé is known for his amazing renditions of classic songs. His voice transports his listeners back to the times of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Andy Williams. It is as if his voice can recreate the musical era of crooners singing gorgeous love songs. Michael Bublé changed up the pace a bit as he stopped by a morning radio show and did his version of Elvis Presley’s “All Shook Up.”

Listening to Michael’s rendition is like time traveling to 1957 and listening to Elvis sing it himself!

Michael stopped by The Chris Evans Breakfast Show for an interview and was able to give a quick performance of “All Shook Up” alongside a band and back-up singers. This gave the morning show performance a more authentic version of the song. Bublé was not the only guest that morning and sang with Katherine Ryan, Beverly Knight and Matt Bellamy, from Muse, all clapping along and enjoying the show! Michael Bublé appears to sing the Elvis classic with such ease, the way only a natural can do!

Bublé even brings in some humor by shaking his entire body during part of the song to show how he was all shook up!

Michael Bublé did not only sing the Elvis classic during his time at The Chris Evans Breakfast Show but was interviewed as well. Evans asked Bublé which song was the very first song he remembers from his childhood. Bublé responded that his father would sing “The Birds and the Bees” by Dean Martin over and over again. This was the first song he remembers.

Bublé jokes that when his father attends a concert he still gives him a hard time over it and will sing that song at the show.

Chris Evans also asked Bublé if he became interested in the crooner genre because of his grandfather’s influence, who Bublé was very close with growing up.

Bublé responded by stating, “I think the love of the genre was placed, ya I would say a big part to him, but I think the more I have questioned myself, the more I have realized it is just kind of the essence of who I am. I just have an affinity for it. I love the genre.”

While Bublé has realized over the years it was his own love of the genre that kept him going. His grandfather still played a very important role in his success. Michael’s grandfather believed in his talent from a very young age. Bublé’s grandfather was a plumber who used his skills to the advantage of Michael Bublé’s future.

Michael Buble’s grandfather would trade his plumbing skills to let a teenage Bublé perform at small local stages.

“We would go back and forth to hotel lounges and bars and clubs and he would fix their hot water heaters and their toilets, and their sinks, and they would let me come and sit in and then bring in my own bands and it all started to roll,” Bublé recalls.

Michael Bublé and his fans owe his initial success to his grandfather! Thankfully his grandfather pushed local venues to let him perform because the entire world now gets to be amazed by his talent. Bublé’s more well-known song covers are of Frank Sinatra and other crooners, so his cover of “All Shook Up” is a fun change of pace.

Bublé gets to show off his fun side during this quick radio show performance.
