They are cute, cuddly, fluffy, and funny to watch. There are thousands of videos about their antics and they’re all amusing to watch.

These charismatic creatures look like toys and the trademark black and white coat adds to the allure.

Chengdu, China is the hometown of the giant Panda. And the Chengdu Panda base has been in operation for 25 years with the largest controlled breeding population in the world with 108 Pandas.

Pandas are native to China and considered a national treasure.

The base celebrates Panda awareness week and this is where these cute bears are allowed to just have fun. They run around and roll at each other seemingly impervious to pain.

The staff are only asked to run after them. Which means they get to play with the cubs.

They are vulnerable species and fewer than 1,900 live in the wild.

The Panda base assist in the growth of the population including the rescue and rehabilitation of Pandas so they can return to the wild.

Which is great because that means more of them rolling and sliding around for even more adorable videos. Look at these guys. It’s like they were built to be cute and designed to just bounce around.

Move over I was here first!

There have been debates over the years as to whether they are considered to be bears or something else. Apparently they are based on genetic studies. But when you think of bears, you think of huge, deadly creatures that exude power and dominance.

These guys though… Well they’re huge when fully grown. That’s about it. They’d probably run towards you for a hug instead of seeing you as lunch.

They are known to be curious and playful.

Look at them chase their caretakers. She calls to them and climbs up the stairs leading towards the slide. They fall in behind her toddling along in a line. Must be a fun job!

She runs down the slides and… One by one they slide down in different angles. Some head first, some sideways and it is just too cute!

And they’ll do it over and over again.

For creatures who live on bamboo and with a low metabolism, they sure have the energy. They will chase and follow their caregiver around the enclosure if it means more playtime to satisfy that curiosity.

No one complains. Why would they? Who wouldn’t want to be in an enclosure and just play with these cubs all day?

Panda cubs crashing into each other and not one gets mad.

There’s only one slide and these cubs crash and roll into each other at speed and it’s a wonder no one gets hurt. They must be so fat and fluffy that they just bounce off one another.

This is cuteness overload.

Pandas are vocal and have very cute vocalizations.

They will bleat, huff, honk, croak, and squeal and it matches those mascara-like bound eyes. Like a kid who just wants to follow their mom or dad around while asking for toys.

They are endangered and for the most part, need human assistance to survive.
